IPA
Also: NNC 26-0161
§ Overview
A selective growth hormone secretagogue that stimulates GH release without significantly affecting cortisol, prolactin, or other hormones. Considered the 'cleanest' GHRP due to its selectivity. Frequently combined with CJC-1295 for enhanced GH pulsatility.
§ Mechanism
Selectively binds to ghrelin/GHS receptors (GHSR) on the pituitary gland, triggering growth hormone release in a pulsatile pattern that mimics natural GH secretion. Unique among GHRPs for minimal effect on appetite (ghrelin), cortisol, and prolactin.
§ Common Uses
- → Growth hormone release
- → Fat loss
- → Anti-aging
- → Sleep improvement
- → Recovery
§ Reported Side Effects
