GHRP-2
Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide 2
Also: Pralmorelin · KP-102
§ Overview
A synthetic hexapeptide growth hormone secretagogue. GHRP-2 is considered the strongest GH releaser in the GHRP family, producing the highest GH pulse. It's more potent than GHRP-6 but with similar side effects including appetite stimulation and cortisol/prolactin increases.
§ Mechanism
Potent ghrelin receptor (GHSR) agonist. Produces the highest GH release among GHRPs. Also activates hypothalamic appetite centres and mildly stimulates ACTH/cortisol and prolactin release. Synergistic with GHRH analogues for amplified GH pulses.
§ Common Uses
- → Maximum GH release
- → Muscle building
- → Fat loss
- → Anti-aging
- → Appetite stimulation
§ Reported Side Effects
- · Hunger increase
- · Water retention
- · Cortisol elevation
- · Prolactin elevation
