Thymosin Alpha-1

Ta1

Also: Zadaxin

human trialmeta analysis

A 28-amino acid peptide originally isolated from thymic tissue. Thymosin Alpha-1 is a potent immune modulator that enhances T-cell function and has been approved in over 30 countries for treatment of hepatitis B and C. It's used off-label for immune support and cancer adjuvant therapy.

Activates dendritic cells, enhances T-cell differentiation and maturation, stimulates natural killer cell activity, and modulates cytokine production. Acts through Toll-like receptors (TLR2, TLR9) to bridge innate and adaptive immunity.
